The job: A well established and highly regarded printer of very high quality colour books is looking to appoint an experienced Print Sales Representative to sell book printing services to book publishers in Germany. The person appointed will contact and visit clients / prospects, present quotations, and liaise with the factory’s production staff during production of relevant print jobs. They will also attend trade fairs and other promotional events.

The person: The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter with a proven track record in print sales, ideally with experience of selling for an overseas book printer, and will have a very sound knowledge of high quality colour printing. Fluency in German and English is required, and the candidate could be based in the UK or in mainland Europe. The role would suit candidates with excellent communication and negotiation skills, good knowledge of the book publishing industry and a strong commercial instinct. As this is a commission based post, it would suit a person with an established portfolio career, who is looking for an additional opportunity.
