The job: A highly respected company majoring in Reference and Business related publishing is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Director with an extensive background in sales and marketing. The successful candidate will be a key member of the management executive team. Reporting to the Managing Director, they will work closely with senior colleagues to determine future strategy and to drive the profitable sales for all UK and international markets of books, digital media and the selling of foreign and e-rights. The successful candidate will also oversee and develop agency relationships.

The person: The ideal candidate will have significant sales and marketing experience in both the UK and International markets, with a background in trade and/or reference/professional publishing and a demonstrable record of achievement. They will be an experienced team leader and have substantial expertise in successful, commercial deal making.
