The job: Our client is a leading licensing company whose main activities include developing and managing intellectual properties for a number of blue chip authors. Currently the company has a vacancy for an experienced Sales Executive. Principal accountabilities include: in conjunction with the Head of Department, identifying, negotiating and closing the sale of rights agreements; to identify new revenue streams for each brand and then to negotiate and close the sale of those agreements; to supervise the licensing agents in various regions and to ensure that they represent and promote the relevant brands / authors and to oversee, approve and administer their deals. The person: Applicants will need: a good track record of success in sales orientated roles; relevant experience of publishing in an international context; excellent negotiating skills; to be independent, self-motivated and goal orientated, with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; strong organisational skills; fully flexible approach, with the ability to work well in a team; sound judgement and ability to take the initiative; flexibility and ability to travel, including attendance at relevant Trade Fairs.
