The job: A successful and market-leading publisher of highly innovative gift books is looking to appoint an experienced Foreign Rights Sales Executive. The person appointed will be responsible for a variety of territories. Responsibilities include researching new sales opportunities, assessing competition, researching pricing and preparing contracts. Other aspects of the role include creating price lists, credit control, forecasting; and monitoring sales. Preparing for and attending trade fairs to meet with potential and current customers is also the responsibility of this interesting role. The person: Candidates should be experienced foreign rights executives, with a proven track record. Fluency in several European languages, including Italian, is desirable. First class communication skills should be matched with excellent negotiation abilities, confident communication skills and demonstrable ability to build excellent customer relations. The role would suit a target driven, team player with a willingness to travel. Our client may also consider a more junior version of this role, working in more established areas, suitable for a junior rights executive looking to progress their career.
