The job: A leading publisher of ELT teaching materials is looking to recruit an experienced Managing Editor to join a busy and friendly editorial team for a fixed term contract of 12-18 months, tbc. Working closely with an in-house team the person appointed will be responsible for the day-to-day project management of both electronic and print titles from approved manuscripts through to publication. They will liaise extensively with freelance editors, the in-house editorial team, and design and production colleagues to ensure that all titles are delivered on time and to budget.

The person: EFL teaching experience and a recognised teaching qualification along with previous experience within publishing, working on ELT materials are essential. Candidates will need to demonstrate ability and initiative and first class communication skills along with excellent organisational and team working skills. The role would suit and experienced editor who would enjoy a new challenge, or possibly a freelancer who is interested in working in-house on a fixed term contract.
