The job: A well established publisher of ELT teaching materials is looking to recruit an experienced Managing Editor to join a busy and friendly editorial team. Working closely with the Commissioning Editor on the coordination of both print and electronic material for Spanish Primary courses, the primary responsibility is the day-to-day project management of titles from approved manuscripts to publication. This will involve liaising extensively with freelance editors, the in-house editorial team, and design and production colleagues to ensure that all titles are delivered on time and to budget.

The person: Applicants should have EFL teaching experience and a recognised teaching qualification along with previous experience within publishing working on ELT materials. Knowledge of Spanish and the Spanish ELT market is also highly desirable. Demonstrable ability and initiative to work autonomously along with first class communication skills and excellent organisational and team working abilities are essential. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and proactive editor with a particular interest in ELT materials for Spain, who is seeking an interesting and challenging new opportunity.
