The job: A market leading international professional publishing organisation requires an experienced Publishing Editor to play a key role within their Commercial Business publications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for title and author management, including commissioning new editions and new data for the employment, pensions and EU law marketplaces, commissioning new content and products to meet market needs, and ensuring effective delivery of customer-focused products and services.

The person: Candidates should ideally be graduates, with at least one year's relevant publishing experience, preferably within a professional or legal publishing environment, a sound background in co-ordinating new product development, and preferably have good knowledge of the legal business marketplace. Resourcefulness, a positive results-focused and well-organised approach to project planning and task management, confident communication ability, and sound commercial awareness, are all essential requirements for this busy, proactive role. The person appointed will also need sound analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and have the ability to work effectively on their own initiative as well as being an active, supportive team player.

Salary: In the range £24k to £28k pa, depending on experience, plus an attractive range of benefits.
