The job: One of the UK's leading international higher education/academic publishers is looking for an Electronic Operations Manager to run their Electronic Operations team, and to be responsible for overseeing the development of CD-ROMs, DVDs, websites and on-line subscription products across a range of ELT lists. Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will manage the day to day running of the team, and all operational processes, including resource planning, monitoring production plans and budgets, managing supplier relationships and technical support. Line management and staff development are an important part of this role.

The person: Candidates will need a keen interest in the use of technology, and in language learning and will have substantial experience of project management. A strong record of the successful management of publishing teams to produce electronic products is required. The ability to work effectively with senior staff across publishing functions is key, and although not essential, candidates with an ELT background and / or a qualification in project management, are especially welcome.

Salary: c. £31k - 40k depending on experience
