Meridian continues to expand its recruitment activities across all levels and sectors of the publishing industry. As a consequence we are now looking for two additional consultants to join our small, highly committed team of experienced professionals.

Based in our elegant mews office, situated just a few minutes walk from Paddington and Edgware Road stations, the successful candidates will be fully involved in managing assignments for our broad range of clients, and developing relationships with a wide variety of candidates.

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of how the publishing process works, and have the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels. The positions would probably best suit candidates with a background in HR or with Sales experience, although applications will also be welcomed from people in other publishing functions. While previous recruitment experience is not an essential requirement, it would certainly be a distinct advantage, and experience within the STM, Reference, Academic or Professional publishing sectors would also be especially useful.

Confident communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively multi-task, with a strong work commitment, an enthusiastic approach to task- and project-management, and a positive, supportive team-working style, are all essential qualities for these varied and busy roles.
