The Meridian recruitment process is thorough and confidential, ensuring our clients always receive the best possible candidates for each assignment.

Our consultants are meticulous, both in the drawing up of the assignment brief and in undertaking a comprehensive search for appropriate candidates. Candidates shortlisted are thoroughly interviewed and briefed on the nature of the appointment.

The client is consulted at every stage of the process and receives a shortlist, together with the consultant's notes. Our support continues through to appointment providing, if required, advice on the salary and employee terms.


Search (headhunt)
Major assignments are conducted most effectively by executive search. Meridian has built up a network of contacts throughout the publishing and media industries and has its own research team, thus ensuring we are able to target quality candidates. All approaches to candidates are made with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Selection (advertised approach)
In addition to search, advertising can provide a wider trawl for appropriate candidates. We can advise on design, wording and optimum publications for advertisements.

Details of potential candidates that have been submitted to Meridian or have emerged as a result of our various search activities are constantly updated on our extensive database.
