John Broom
Managing Director and founder of the Meridian Consultancy Group, John has worked in personnel and human resource management within magazine, newspaper and book publishing, for more than 30 years, including 14 years as a board director at Penguin Books. He specialises in senior management recruitment and career management campaigns.

Jo Howard
Jo Howard, who became Chair of Meridian Search & Selection in 2007, has more than 25 years' experience in the book trade. As a result of this she has developed a broad knowledge and understanding of publishing and book retailing and an unrivalled network of industry contacts.

She has held many key positions, including leading strategy development for WHSmith Retail, having previously been Director of their Children's and Education Business Unit and Product Marketing Director for Books. Prior to joining WHSmith she was Commercial Director, and then Supply Chain Director, for Waterstone's.

Currently Chair of both the Book Marketing Society and of the publishing business of disability charity RADAR, she has been a Non-Executive Director of Bertrams and was Chair of World Book Day in 2005. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

In addition to her work with Meridian, Jo also manages her own consulting practice in leadership development and business coaching.

Caroline Campkin
From production control at Thames and Hudson to production director at Berlitz Publishing and Oxford University Press, Caroline's career in publishing has spanned more than 25 years with some of the best known trade, academic and illustrated book publishers in the business. She has also worked as a management consultant for both publishers and printers, both in the UK and internationally and has lectured in Production at the London College of Printing. At Meridian Caroline now assists clients with recruitment in publishing and printing across all disciplines and at all levels.

Greg Evaristo
Greg has worked in book publishing and business consulting for over 15 years. Operating successfully in the areas of one to one senior executive coaching and career coaching. He is a founder Charter Member of the UK College of Life Coaching, and previously managed his own publishing sales promotions business. Greg's last role in publishing was as Sales Development Director with Transworld. At Meridian he specialises in a range of specialist areas particularly in sales and marketing opportunities.

Christian Kelly
Christian has enjoyed over 25 years' involvement with recruitment / HR, personnel and training, all at senior management level with a number of 'blue chip' companies within publishing and advertising including working as HR and Training and Development Manager at HarperCollins. Registered with the British Psychological Society, Christian specialises in recruitment, psychometric assessment and career/outplacement counselling.
